The moderation threshold setting allows you to choose which reviews will automatically be placed in moderation so that they can be processed and a response given to the customer before they are published.
By default, reviews with a rating of 1 and 2 stars are automatically placed in moderation. However, this can also include other ratings if you change the setting via the platform.
Please note that all reviews containing personal data or watchwords will be placed in moderation regardless of the review rating and moderation threshold you have predefined.
How do I change the moderation threshold?
- Go to the Review Management menu
- On the right side of the screen, click Settings, then Moderation threshold
- If the slider is gray, the moderation threshold is deactivated. To activate it, click on the slider. It will then turn blue.
- Select the number of stars you want.
For example, if you select 3 stars (in yellow), this means that all reviews with a rating between 1 and 3 stars will be placed in moderation.
Don't forget to set the moderation threshold for brand and product reviews!
To avoid any setting conflicts, we advise you to set the same threshold from the Account management/My account menu.
As a reminder, all reviews remain in moderation for 7 days, unless you decide to publish them earlier.
