How to send a predefined response to a consumer?

Whether positive or negative, it's important to respond to reviews left by your consumers. To save you time in managing and handling reviews, you can use our predefined response system.

With this feature, you’ll also be able to reply to multiple reviews simultaneously.

Create a predefined response

This section requires access to an administrator user account. However, all users can use a predefined response to reply to a review.

  1. Go to the left side menu Review Management
  2. At the top right, click on Settings and then on Predefined Responses
  3. Click on Add a predefined response and select Brand Reviews or Product Reviews based on your need.
  4. Enter the title and content of your response.
  5. Click on Save!

You can use the following tags to retrieve specific information from moderated reviews and personalize your responses:

  • Order number
  • Customer’s first name
  • Order date
  • Review date

Send a predefined response

  1. From the Review Management menu, go to your Reviews to Process:
  2. Click on the review you wish to respond to
  3. Click on Predefined Responses and choose the desired response from the available list
  4. Make any edits you wish!
  5. Don’t forget to send your response by clicking on Reply

You can also respond to multiple reviews simultaneously. To do so, select the relevant reviews by clicking the checkbox to the left of each review, then click on the Action button. Choose the desired response and confirm.

Edit a predefined response

This section requires access to an administrator user account. However, all users can use a predefined response to reply to a review.

  1. Go to the left side menu Review Management
  2. At the top right, click on Settings and then on Predefined Responses
  3. From the three dots to the right of your chosen predefined message, click on Edit
  4. Make your changes and save!

Your predefined response has been updated and will now be available in your responses!

Create multiple responses for the most common topics to vary your answers.

For example, you could draft two different responses for handling delivery issues.
