Managing Multilingual Shopify websites

If you use Shopify and have sites in different languages, you can now manage review requests in multiple languages.

This feature ensures that your customers receive review request emails in the appropriate language for their region, improving their experience and response rate.

Requirements

You are using Shopify to collect reviews with multilingual websites..

The configuration of your secondary accounts will be done on your main account.

Access the Configuration

  • Log in to your Verified Reviews back office.
  • Go Collect Reviews > Configuration
  • Scroll down to Multilingual configuration

From this section, click on the action button to define the language for each of your websites.

A pop-up window will appear where you can map each website to its corresponding language (e.g., French for the French website, Italian for the Italian website).

  • If no language mapping is defined for a website, no review requests will be sent for that website, and a warning message will inform you of this.
  • If you never open the pop-up to manage mappings, review requests will default to the language of the master account.

 

By setting up multilingual review requests, you can provide a better customer experience and potentially increase the number of reviews you receive from your international customers!
