Prestashop Alerts: Error Resolution Guide

Different errors may occur while using the Prestashop connector.

Here, we provide clear troubleshooting tips and specific steps to help you resolve the most common errors.

Applicable from Prestashop connector version 10.0.0.

Installation errors

This message appears if an issue occurs during:

  • Updating the connector.
  • Saving credentials in the Configuration section.

Troubleshooting tips:

  1. Check that the credentials entered in the Configuration section of Prestashop match those in the My Connector page of your Verified Reviews account:

  2. If you have updated the credentials, click the Save button again.
  3. If the error persists: export the logs and open a ticket with our Care team via the contact icon (bottom-right corner of the screen) attaching the ZIP file containing the logs.

Communication issues

The Prestashop connector communicates with our services in the following cases:

  • Updating the connector.
  • Saving credentials.
  • Triggering the display_home hook (maximum of 1 communication per hour).
  • Changing an order's status (maximum of 1 communication per hour).

This message appears if Prestashop fails to establish contact with our services for 24 hours concerning the above actions.

Troubleshooting tips: 

1. Ensure you are using the latest version available on Prestashop Addons.

2. Make sure your module is activated in Modules > Module Manager

  • Bouton de coche If your module is activated you can proceed to the next step.

  • MarqueIf your module is deactivated click the Activate button to activate your module. A confirmation message should appear. You can then proceed to the next step.

3. Check that the credentials entered in the Configuration section of Prestashop are correct and match those in the My Connector page of your Verified Reviews account.

4. If you update the credentials, click Save.

5. If the error persists: export the logs and open a ticket with our Care team via the contact icon (bottom-right corner of the screen) attaching the ZIP file containing the logs.

Connector logs

This message appears when the connector lacks write permissions on the folder/logs and its files.

Logs are essential for investigating potential anomalies in the connector's operation:

Troubleshooting tips: 

  1. If you have FTP access, check the write permissions for the folder/logs and its files.
  2. If you do not have FTP access, contact your hosting provider to grant the necessary write permissions for the mentioned folder and files.

Collect and status configuration

This message is displayed when no orders have been placed in the selected order recovery statuses for 15 days.

Troubleshooting tips: 

  1. Verify the selected order statuses in the collection configuration page of your Verified Reviews account.
    If needed, update the list. Note that a one-hour delay may be required for the update to take effect.

  2. From your Prestashop account, ensure that your orders are in the selected statuses:

  3. Confirm that the method you use to change the order statuses correctly triggers the actionOrderStatusPostUpdate hook.
  4. If the error persists: export the logs and open a ticket with our Care team via the contact icon (bottom-right corner of the screen) attaching the ZIP file containing the logs.
