Review Sharing, how does it work?

The Review Sharing is a feature designed to enhance and balance your online reputation across different review platforms.

Display at the bottom of your thank-you page a banner inviting the consumer to leave a review on a third-party platform such as Google or Trustpilot. You can also choose to automatically redirect them to the page of your choice.

Consumer consent is essential for this option to work properly and to comply with ethical and legal guidelines for review management.

This approach helps obtain a more accurate and balanced representation of the customer experience by encouraging satisfied customers to share their opinion, thus providing a complete and nuanced picture of customer satisfaction.

This option requires internal setup by our team, please contact us to learn more.

How does it work?

Two options are available:

Automatic Redirection

  1. The consumer is automatically redirected after 30 seconds from the thank-you page to your Google Business Profile or Trustpilot page.
  2. They will then need to copy/paste their review into the designated space.
  3. For Google, the consumer will need to log in to their account to validate the review submission. This is not required for Trustpilot.

Manual Redirection

  1. A share icon appears at the bottom of the review submission thank-you page.
  2. The consumer must click it to access your Google Business Profile or Trustpilot page, then copy/paste their review.
  3. For Google, the consumer will need to log in to their account to validate the review submission. This is not required for Trustpilot.

The review will not be marked as a "Verified Review" on these third-party platforms.

Request Tracking

  1. Go to Statistics from the left-hand side menu
  2. Click on the dashboard of your choice: Trustpilot, Google Share, etc.
  3. You will then see the number of invitations sent, as well as the number of clicks on your review invitation.

It is possible to see who clicked on your request; however, it is not possible to obtain the figures from third-party platforms to know how many reviews were submitted on those platforms.
