The Badge widget highlights customer reviews and the overall rating linked to the shopping experience. It helps promote your average rating (over the last 12 months), while strengthening your customers’ trust!
You can integrate this widget directly into your web pages, but it is also possible to use a dynamic image of your widget on other digital channels: email, signature, pages without technical integration, etc.
Benefits:
- Easy to use: no technical integration required, a simple image is enough.
- Email-friendly: ideal for signatures or email campaigns.
- Automatic updates: the image reflects your current rating at the time it is displayed.
- Digital versatility: can be used across many channels (emails, simple pages, third-party tools…).
This is not a widget integration: it is an image, with no interactivity.
Its display is therefore not guaranteed everywhere: some email clients or environments may block or not load the image. Unlike the integrated widget, there are no SEO benefits since the data is not read by Google.
To fully benefit from all features (SEO, structured data, interactivity), we recommend that you integrate the badge widget directly on your website.
Setup
Once your widget is created, you can retrieve its dynamic image and use it across your digital channels.
- From the left-hand menu, click on Review display, then Integrate my widgets.
- Select the Brand widget - Badge - of your choice.
- Click on Integrate in the top right and check the section Integrate my widget as a dynamic image.
- Copy the HTML link and integrate it directly into your channels (email, signature, HTML page, etc.)
Best practices
- Use this format for emails and signatures, where scripts are not supported.
- Check the display across different platforms (Gmail, Outlook, mobile…).
- Additionally, use the integrated widget on your website to maximize your SEO performance.
