To access your Q&A settings:

  2. Then click on Configuration in the left-hand menu of the newly opened page.
  3. You will then access the following options:

Moderation settings

Moderation of Q&A allows you to ensure the publication of useful, respectful, and appropriate content on your product pages. This step is essential for your questions and answers to be visible on your website.

Questions, as well as answers and interactions, must be moderated and approved before publication.

Some settings are configured by default, but you can customize them on this page according to your needs:

  • When enabled, this option places all new questions under moderation
  • If disabled, questions will be automatically published unless they contain forbidden words, in which case they will also need to be moderated.
New answers automatically under moderation
  • When enabled, all new public answers (submitted via your product page) and community answers (when you request community participation) are placed under moderation.
  • If disabled, answers will be automatically published unless they contain forbidden words, in which case they will also need to be moderated.
New exchanges automatically under moderation
  • When enabled, all new exchanges are placed under moderation.
  • If disabled, exchanges will be automatically published unless they contain forbidden words, in which case they will also need to be moderated.

Capping configuration

Number of grouped emails to send

When you click the Ask the community button, we send, every 30 minutes and for each question, a series of emails to the buyer community. This operation repeats until the maximum number of emails allowed per question is reached or the desired number of answers is obtained.

This option lets you define how many emails are sent at once. If this value is set to “0”, no emails will be sent.

The feature for setting the maximum number of customers to notify is just below.

Maximum number of customers to notify for a new question

This option defines how many consumers will be invited to answer a question when you click Ask the community

If this value is set to “0”, no emails will be sent.

Buyers who made the most recent purchases are contacted first.

Minimum delay for email sending

This option allows you to define the number of days before a buyer becomes eligible to be surveyed.

If set to 0, the buyer becomes eligible as soon as they are added to the Q&A database.

Maximum delay for email sending

This option defines the number of days after which a buyer is no longer eligible to be surveyed. If set to 0, the tool will not send any emails.

The maximum delay for email sending is 365 days.

Maximum number of desired answers per question

This option defines the maximum number of answers you want to receive for each question.

Once a question reaches this number of answers, we will no longer survey the community for it. However, it is still possible to receive more answers than this value.

This option defines the maximum number of times a buyer will be surveyed about a specific product

Once this limit is reached, the customer will no longer be contacted until the limitation reset period expires (to be defined in the option below).

This option defines the number of days before a user becomes eligible to be surveyed again.
