This article will be useful if you use an SFTP server to retrieve your orders in your Verified Reviews account.
If you do not use FTP to collect your reviews but would like to use this feature: please contact your account manager or our support team.
We will then do what is necessary so that you can upload your CSV files to the server.
This article explains the procedure to follow to upload your files to the SFTP server.
If you have the latest collection method, please follow the instructions in this article.
CSV files must be uploaded at regular intervals to an SFTP account whose partition can be either:
- Hosted on Verified Reviews servers : in this case, we will provide you with the access details so that you can send us the CSV order files.
- If you store the data on your own server, don't forget to provide us with the information necessary to activate the feature on our side, such as the host, username, password, and port.
The file size limit is 100 MB: above this limit, the file will be placed in error.
Step 1: Understanding the architecture and format of SFTP automation
SFTP architecture
By default, the partition structure is defined as follows:
| Folder | Description |
|---|---|
| .../orders/ | main upload folder |
| .../orders/success/ | subfolder for processed files |
| .../orders/error/ | subfolder for files with errors |
Everything uploaded to the folder /orders/ will be processed by our system the day after upload between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. (UTC+1 or UTC+2).
The files will end up in the subfolders /success/ or /error/ depending on their validity.
Our platform uses a load balancer, so remember to allowlist the following IP addresses: 52.214.31.102, 34.251.16.171, 34.252.230.124, and 34.251.217.121
It is possible to use a single SFTP for several separate accounts as part of international collection or a parent company/subsidiary setup.
Here is an illustrative example:
| Country |
Folder |
|---|---|
| France | .../fr_FR/orders/ |
| France | .../fr_FR/orders/success/ |
| France | .../fr_FR/orders/error/ |
| United States | .../en_US/orders/ |
| United States | .../en_US/orders/success/ |
| United States | .../en_US/orders/error/ |
| ... | ... |
File format
The following specifications must be followed:
| File type | CSV |
| Encoding | UTF-8 without BOM |
| Delimiter | ";" (semicolon separator) |
| Date format | YYYY-MM-DD |
Step 2: Creating/preparing a CSV file before upload
