Migration of e-commerce solution

This article explains the steps to follow if you want to migrate your website to another e-commerce solution (for example, from Prestashop to Woocommerce).

Please contact us before following the procedure below. It is important that one of our project managers accompanies you in this process to avoid any malfunction.

Prerequisites

  • Familiarize yourself with the technical documentation of the new e-commerce solution.
  • Pay attention to possible changes in your product data (Product reference, product page URL, etc.).

What needs to be done when launching your new site in production?

Step 1

Update the e-commerce solution on your Avis Vérifiés account. To do this, go to the menu Account Management/My Account/Information 


Step 2

Install the new module by following the technical documentation.

Step 3

Send the URL of your new site to our teams (if it is going to change).

Step 4

For displaying brand and/or product reviews, you can use our new widgets. For this, I invite you to follow the procedures below:

Step 5

The references of your products may have changed: It is important to inform us if this is the case so that we can proceed with data recovery.

👉 It is crucial that you contact us in advance so that a project manager can accompany you in this migration. This support includes:

  • Personalized assistance through calls/visits on Teams, with one of our project team members.
    • Assistance with module installation,
    • Configuration of your account,
  • Verification of the recovery of your orders,
  • Verification of the display of reviews on your website,
  • Updating of product references.
