🔧 Magento 2 : How to check the retrieval of my orders ?

Thanks to the Magento2 module, you have the possibility to automatically retrieve your orders on your Verified Reviews account. If you notice that orders are no longer being retreived on your account, you have the possibility to make initial checks on your own to try to rectify this anomaly.

These verification steps will help identify the source of the problem and restore the automatic retrieval of your orders to your Verified Reviews account.

Prerequisites

Using the Magento2 module for automatic retrieval of your orders.

Procedure

Step 1: Check the connection between your module and your Verified Reviews account

1/ Login to your Verified Reviews back office.

2/ Go the to the "Collect reviews" tab.

3/ Click on "Configure my Module"

4/ Click on the button "Test the la connection".

If the connection to the module is working normally, the following messages will be displayed:

  • Contact established.
  • The credentials are correct.

If that is the case, you can move on to the next step 2

If the message "No contact with module" appears, we recommend that you consult the "Configuration of Module in Magento 2 Back-Office" section of the following article Magento 2 Documentation

If despite the checks made, the connection still fails, we recommend that you contact the support team for help.

Step 2: Check the configuration of the module

1/ Activate automatic order retrieval

From the Collect reviews>Configure My Module menu, check "yes" in the Activate Automation section.

Configure the "When should we retrieve orders" setting next. You will have two options to choose from.

  • "At the order" : this means that all orders will be retrieved, including those that have been canceled, closed, in process...
  • "Change Order Status" : This option allows you to select one or more specific order statuses from which the orders will be retrieved. If you choose this option, you must select the status or statuses from the list of statuses. We recommend that you choose a final status, such as "delivered".

2/ Set the deadline for submitting reviews requests.

From Collect Reviews> configure my module tab, you have the ability to set a deadline for sending review requests. This deadline is effective from the moment the order is retrieved. You can set a specific timeframe for:

  • The brand review request : allows you to select the number of days before the brandreview request is sent.
  • The product review request: allows for the deferral of the product review request. If you provide X number of days, it means that the product review request will be sent X days after the brand review request. This option is useful if your client needs time to test the product.

If your module is properly configured, you can move on to step 3

Step 3 : Check the automatic retrieval of orders

1/ Log in to your Verified Reviews back office

2/ Go to the tab "Collect Reviews".

3/ Click on "Reporting - Reporting - Review requests"

4/ Compare the last order retrieved from your Magento2 back office to that last order displayed on this tab of your Verified Reviews back office.

5/ Please check if the following columns and values are present in your database and make sure that the default values for each column match those indicated in the image below.

If you notice that some orders are not recorded on your Verified Reviews account, please add them to your database following the installation commands of the module in our technical documentation: Magento-2-Connector-Documentation. commands in our technical documentation:
Magento-2-Documentation-connector

Your orders will be retrieved automatically within 72 hours. You can track the retrieval of your orders in your Verified Reviews space, under the "Collect reviews" tab then "Reporting - Review Requests".

If you have done all the necessary verifications and your orders are still not automatically retrieved, please contact our support service. We will need restricted access to your back office and your FTP/FTP server so we can review our Netreviews module files as well as an export of the sales_order and quote tables going back one week before the date of the last retrieved order. Please provide this information in a csv format, with the column names corresponding to those in the database.
