Review Balancing, how does it work?

The Review Balancing is an advanced plan feature designed to enhance and balance your online reputation across different review platforms.

This option allows you to distribute all of your customer reviews (according to a threshold you set), directly to Verified Reviews, or to a third-party source (for example, 50% of reviews to Google and 50% to Verified Reviews).

The customer does not have to make any choice, the email is automatically directed according to the source (white-label). This version allows you to quickly adjust a rating coming from a third-party source (for example on Google or Trustpilot).

This option requires internal setup by our teams, and is only available through our advanced plan.

This approach provides a more accurate and balanced representation of the customer experience by encouraging satisfied customers to share their opinion, giving a complete and nuanced picture of customer satisfaction.

We recommend using Review Balancing for all of your customers, and not sending review submission links only to customers identified as satisfied, as this would constitute Review Gating.

How does it work?

This advanced option must be activated upon request by our teams.

As mentioned above, it allows you to automatically distribute your reviews: for example, 50% to Google and 50% to Verified Reviews, without any action required from the customer.

Depending on the threshold you set, the email will be automatically directed according to the source (white-label).

The customer must have a Gmail address to submit a review on Google.

Tracking Review Balancing Requests

  1. Click on Review Collection, then Review Request Tracking:
  2. You will then access a Platform filter.
  3. You can then select one or multiple platforms and view the tracking of requests. By default, all options are selected:

Trustpilot Example

It is possible to know if a customer has opened the review request email. However, it is not possible to know if the review was actually submitted on the third-party platform.

Feel free to contact our team or your CSM to subscribe to one of these options!
