What criteria must I respect to create my password?

When you're asked to set a new password, for example, if you clicked on "forgot password," it's essential to follow specific rules to ensure the security of your account.

This article will present the criteria your password must meet and what to do if you're unable to create your password.

Please note that after several failed login attempts, your account is locked out for a period of 10 to 15 minutes. You can try to log in again after this time has elapsed.

Criteria to follow

  • Your password must contain a minimum of 12 characters
  • Your password must include both uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Your password must include numbers
  • Your password must include at least one special character
  • Your password must not include your first name, last name, or email
  • Password too simple, like p@ssw0rd
  • Do not use repetitive characters like aaa

It’s essential that your password follows all of these rules.

What happens if I don't follow these criteria?

You won’t be able to validate your new password.

The validation button will be unclickable and will remain greyed out.

In some cases, the button won’t be greyed out, but the changes won’t be applied. Therefore, be careful and make sure your password complies with the rules.
