Unlike other connectors, the Shopify connector updates automatically. Once the app is installed, no further action is required.
Updates to our connector are deployed directly via Shopify. You do not need to download or install a new module.
Except in special cases, in which case we will provide you with specific information.
The “Update Required” message
You may occasionally see the message 🔴Update Required appear on the homepage of your Verified Reviews account, in the Shopify Connector box:
This message does not mean that the Shopify X Verified Reviews connector needs to be updated.
It simply indicates that some permissions (access rights) are missing for the app to function correctly.
To resolve the issue, click the blue button Update My Data Access. This will redirect you to Shopify’s instructions.
You will then be able to grant the missing access rights.
