The Q&A feature from Verified Reviews allows you to publish consumer questions directly on your product pages and automatically engage your buyer community by sending an email.
To automate the import of community data, you can set up an import via FTP/SFTP.
Accessing the Configuration
- From the left sidebar menu of your Verified Reviews account, click on
Questions & Answers.
- Then click on
Configurations in the left sidebar menu of the page that opens.
- At the bottom left of the page, find the section Community Import Configurations.
Setting Up Community Import
1. Activate Daily Import
Simply enable the option Import your sales catalog daily from Verified Reviews
This option does not work if an FTP/SFTP import is already configured.
2. Configure the FTP/SFTP Connection
Enter the following information:
- Active: enables or disables the FTP/SFTP import
- Type: choose FTP or SFTP
- Address: FTP/SFTP server address
- Login: login username
- Password: associated password
- Port: connection port used
- Path: folder where the files will be placed
Once the information is complete, don’t forget to click Save Configuration.
By enabling this FTP, you will import the sales files available at the specified path. Make sure to use a profile with read and write permissions.
Email Notifications Related to SFTP Imports
For community import, only one type of email is sent: error emails.
These error notifications are sent to all users (moderators and administrators).
Cases of Receiving (or Not Receiving) Emails
- File moved to the /errors folder: an error email is sent to moderators and administrators. If no email is received, this may indicate abnormal behavior or a specific configuration to be checked by our teams.

File in the wrong format: only CSV files are accepted. If the uploaded file is not a .csv file, the file will not be processed and no notification will be sent.
no notification is sent - Empty CSV file: if the CSV file is empty, no import will be performed. Therefore, no error notification will be sent
Other Notification Cases
Community Import: only error emails exist; no success or import confirmation emails are currently sent.
