Once your consumers have submitted their reviews, you can view them in the Review Management tab in the left-hand menu.
This is where we invite you to consult and manage them (publish, reply, or report).
What is moderation?
Moderation is a step in the review collection and publication process, required by our transparency charter as well as the NF Service standard.
This standard ensures a fair and constructive space for discussion between you and the consumer before the review is published, especially if an issue needs to be clarified or resolved.
This step also allows us to check that the comment does not contain any prohibited content (personal data, insults, defamation, random characters, etc.). Illegal or inappropriate content subject to removal will be evaluated based on the criteria set by AFNOR Certification.
The "Under Moderation" status
You will find reviews marked as Under Moderation in the To Process section of your Review Management space.
These include all reviews that require an action on your part, or ours.
For example:
Reviews whose rating matches the moderation threshold you have set.
Reviews that are automatically flagged (insults, personal data: automatically handled by our teams).
Reviews that match the triggers you have set up — for example, automatically flagged when a specific word is mentioned.
Reviews for which the consumer has replied to your initial response.
You have 3 options: publish the review, reply to it, or report it!
If a review has been reported (either automatically or manually), it will be handled by our moderation team within 48 hours. Depending on the reason selected, the review will be either rejected or published.
Reviews are published in chronological order, meaning that reviews under moderation block the publication of newer ones — Learn more.
Key things to know about moderation
As long as reviews are under moderation, later reviews will not be published in order to maintain a chronological display.
The consumer is informed if their review is rejected and can submit a new one.
You and Verified Reviews cannot edit reviews. They are published in full.
Moderation gives you the opportunity to respond to and resolve an issue with your customer before the review is published.
