How to configure and integrate the product widget to display your product reviews

The product widget allows you to easily integrate your reviews directly on your product pages or any other platform.

It displays: consumer reviews and photos, star ratings, the average rating, as well as the AI Review Summary to highlight the key points at a glance.

The inclusion of reviews on the relevant product page leads to significant increases in e-commerce conversion rates, with gains of up to +70% among visitors who read the reviews.

Indeed, thanks to the product widget, visitors can check the source of the reviews, rate their usefulness and, if you wish, view the profile type of the consumer who wrote them.

Our widgets also comply with the latest regulations of the Digital Services Act, making them a very reliable choice!

Special Cases

If your widget needs to be dynamically inserted after your page loads
  • At step 1, it is necessary to add the following variable to the script:

data-prevent-default-loading="true"
Example:
 

  • After integrating the three scripts, it will be necessary to invoke the function: SkeepersProductWidget.generate(); in your JavaScript code so that our widget can regenerate the data before the page is displayed.
If automatic integration (Magento, Prestashop, Shopify)

Some connectors allow automatic integration of the Product Widget.

It is possible that a product widget associated with the connector you use was created by default when your account was created!

For Shopify, please follow these instructions.

If automatic integration is not offered, it means your theme is not compatible and automatic integration is not available. You must integrate the widget manually by following the steps above.

  • Go to Display reviews > Integrate my widgets
  • Click on the product widget, a banner will appear in the right column to enable/disable the automatic integration of the widget on your site:

This widget will display on your product pages as well as on your category pages (excluding Shopify):

If multi-product widget

To manage the categories and variants of your website, we invite you to use our multi-product widget:

Displaying numerous reviews helps increase traffic to your website. Displaying many reviews on a product page also increases the conversion rate and the credibility of your brand.

  • Example of a variant : you sell the same T-shirt, but in different colors. Each color has a unique product reference.
     
  • Example of a category : you sell different T-shirts. Each T-shirt has a unique product reference but is part of the T-shirt category.

Setup:

  • When integrating the scripts from steps 2 and 3, do not forget to replace the default product references with your own. Then, separate them with a comma. Default references: ProductID1, ProductID2, etc.

Displaying ratings and reviews for multiple product references is not compatible with automatic integration.

Always replace each data element in the code with the appropriate values from your website and product attributes.

How to remove a widget?

Can I change the color of my widget?

I integrated my widget but it doesn't display correctly
You integrated our product widget to display your product reviews, but they are not visible on your product pages? It may be due to a misintegration of the script in your code. We recommend checking that the script is correctly integrated at the appropriate place on your page. Thank you for contacting us if needed.

How to activate Rich Snippets?
Go to the left sidebar menu: Display my reviews > Integrate my widgets. Then choose the product widget of your choice and click on the small pencil next to its line. You will then find an option to check: Activate Rich Snippets in the configuration list.
How often is my widget updated?
The product widget is automatically updated 4 times a day. A new review is usually published within a few hours after it's collected. If you’ve received new reviews but the widget hasn’t updated after 24 hours, we recommend checking the reviews under moderation via the menu Review Management > Product Reviews > To do tab.
Is it possible to display information related to the profile of the consumer who submitted the review?
It is entirely possible to display information related to the profile of the consumer who submitted the review on your product widget. Example: Beginner, Running, Cycling, etc. This allows visitors to better assess the relevance of the review they are reading. To do so, you need to have our advanced plan in order to add additional questions to your review request form. How to display the AI review summary on the product widget?
Our system automatically analyzes all your customer reviews and directly generates a clear, authentic, and multilingual summary on your product widget. This summary highlights both the positive and negative key points of your product.

How to allow consumers to post a photo of their product on the widget?
If you wish, you can offer your consumers the option to upload a photo of their purchase from the review request form: learn more.
